- Then select the International DL option.
- Then Verify your driving license.
- Then generate the IDL application number.

- Then transfer the international DL fee.

How to Get International Driving License Online
First, apply for an International DL online by following the steps outlined below. Then, you need to visit your local RTO office once to get your physical documents verified.
Step 1. Open the Driving License Portal.
First, search for ‘Parivahan Sewa’ on Google, then click on the first website link to open the Indian DL portal.
Step 2. Select the International DL Option.
Now, after the portal opens, first, click on the ‘Drivers/Learners License’ option, then select the name of your state.
Then a new page will open, where you click on the ‘Apply for International Driving Permit (IDP)’ option. Then click on Continue.
Step 3. Verify your driving license.
Now, first, enter your driving license number and date of birth, then enter the captcha provided on the portal, and click on ‘Get DL Detail’.
After that, select the ‘YES’ option in ‘Confirmed that Driving Licence details are mine’, then select the name of your RTO Office, and click on Proceed.
Then, check your DL details such as mobile number, address, and blood group, and click on Confirm.
After that, click on Generate OTP to verify your mobile number, then click on the Authenticate with Sarathi option.
Step 4. Generate the IDL Application Number.
Now, on this page, select the ‘Issue International Driving Permit’ option and click on Proceed.
After that, enter your information such as Birth Place & Country, Passport Number & validity. Select the name of the country for which you are applying for the IDL.
Then, select the checkboxes for ‘Self-Declaration’ details and click on Submit.
After that, your International Driving License application number will be generated.
Step 5. Upload photos of Documents.
After generating the application number, when you click on Next, a new page will open where you select the ‘Upload Documents’ option and click on Proceed.
After that, sign on each photo of your DL and Passport, upload them one by one, and click on Next.
Step 6. Upload your Photo and Signature.
Now, select the ‘Upload Photo and Signature’ option and click on Proceed.
After that, you can create a single photo frame containing both your photo and signature, upload that photo, and then click on Next.
Step 7. Transfer the Fee for the International DL.
Now, click on ‘Fee Payment’ and then click on Proceed. On the next page, you will be informed about the amount to be paid.
So now, click on the ‘Proceed For Payment’ option and transfer the fee for your International Driving License online using any of the available online methods.
After that, you can download the payment slip, and with that, the process of applying for your IDL online is complete.
Step 8. Submit physical documents at the RTO office.
Now, once your International Driving License application is submitted online, you will need to visit your local RTO office to submit a copy of your IDL application form, copies of the proof documents you uploaded, and a copy of the payment slip.
After that, your IDL will be delivered to your address by the postal department or you will be notified to collect it from the RTO office.

- First, go to the home page of the Sarathi Parivahan Portal.
- Then, click on the ‘Licence-Menu’ option.
- Next, click on ‘Others’ and then on ‘Print Application Form.’
- Now, enter your application number and date of birth, and click on ‘Generate OTP.’
- An OTP will be sent to the mobile number linked to your driving license. Enter the OTP and verify it.
- After that, you can print out your international driving license application form.
